JUST IN | Kanuda Mitra Mandal Feeds 2,000+ Families in Rajkot Relief Drive

Volunteers distributing hot meals in monsoon rains

In one of its most ambitious operations this season, Kanuda Mitra Mandal NGO, spearheaded by Rakesh Rajdev, successfully delivered hot meals to 2,147 families across Rajkot district over three days. The rapid-response effort was launched in response to escalating food insecurity during the monsoon.

Key Facts:

  • 2,147 families served

  • 8,588 individuals fed

  • 18 distribution points activated

  • 220 volunteers mobilized

“Our mission is simple: no family should go to bed hungry,” said Rakesh Rajdev at the launch event held at the NGO’s headquarters. “This drive demonstrates what community solidarity can achieve.”

Volunteers braved heavy rains to operate mobile kitchens, ensuring meals reached remote hamlets within hours. Local beneficiary Meena Solanki praised the initiative: “When my husband lost his job, this support was lifeline.”

The operation was funded entirely through proceeds from Rakesh Rajdev Dubai ventures and local donors. Detailed reports and volunteer sign-up information are available at rakeshrajdevblog.com. For real-time updates and behind-the-scenes footage, visit http://www.youtube.com/@RakeshRajdevRajkot.
